Volunteer Recognition Awards
The University YMCA seeks to recognize those individuals whose involvement has positively impacted the University YMCA and the Champaign-Urbana community.
Each year, recipients are chosen and honored for their commitment to the organization and mission of the University YMCA. These individuals are honored at the Annual Awards Luncheon in the spring and recognized on plaques found in Latzer Hall.
The awards given out by the University YMCA each year are:
• John W. Price Award for Volunteer Service to International Understanding
• Harold W. Colvin Award for Leadership by an Undergraduate at the University of Illinois
• J. Fredrick Miller Award Nomination for Distinguished Volunteer Service
• The Edward Nestingen Alumni Award
• The Distinguished Service Award

Deadline for Nominations:
Nominations for the John W. Price Award for Volunteer Service to International Understanding are due no later than 5 p.m. on February 22, 2008.
All other awards are due no later than 5 pm. On March 12, 2008.

Presentation of Awards:
The John W. Price Award for Volunteer Service to International Understanding is presented each year at the annual International Dinner. The 25th Annual International dinner will take place on March 9, 2008.
The remaining awards will be presented at the Annual Luncheon on April 5, 2008.
