Regular registration will begin Monday, January 14 in the lobby of the University YMCA. The University YMCA encourages early registration to ensure your place in a class. NOTE: Some classes have different start dates and, therefore, different registration requirements.

3. Mail-In Registration
Feel free to use this printable registration form (PDF format, 76K). (You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this file.) Just print it out, and sent it in. If you would like a receipt, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Checks should be made payable to the University YMCA. Registrations which do not include the $5 registration fee will not be processed.

Registration Fee:
Communiversity is made possible in part by the small registration fee each student pays. For non-members there is a one-time per semester, per person, nonrefundable $5 registration fee. Non-members have the option of paying this fee or becoming a member of the University YMCA. Basic membership is $55 for non-students and free to students. HOWEVER, only PAYING members will receive a waiver of the registration fee, the minimum paying membership fee for students is $10. Refund Policy

Cancelation Refund:
If the class you register for is cancelled, you will receive a full cash refund automatically.

Requested Refund:
Individuals who notify us BEFORE THE SECOND CLASS MEETING that they are dissatisfied with the course they have registered for may also receive a refund. Please see Johanne at the front desk in the Y to request a refund form or email communiversity@universityymca.org to let our Programs Coordinator know that you are not satisfied with the course. Requested Refunds will take the form of:
1) equal credit towards another Communiversity course being offered during the current semester,
2) A Communiversity Gift Certificate equal to the amount you paid for the dropped course or,
3) a cash refund. If you request the cash refund the $5 Registration Fee is not refundable.

Insurance Waivers:
All martial arts, self-defense, bodywork, exercise, and yoga students must sign an insurance waiver acknowledging that the University YMCA does not insure for injuries.

Americans with Disabilities Act:
The University YMCA will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which prohibits discrimination in the provision of services, programs or facilities to individuals with disabilities. If you have concerns on ADA, please contact Betty Earle, Director of Operations.
