Joe Vitosky

Joe Vitosky is a long time resident of Urbana who retired from the University of Illinois as a Sr. Assistant Vice President of the University Office of Capital Programs & Real Estate Services. His office was responsible for implementing a University wide, uniform capital project delivery process and related systems, University master plans, performance metrics, and liaison with the State of Illinois. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in education and finance from the University of Illinois. Joe has been actively involved in the community over the past 30 years serving on the Urbana Schools Building committee, the University of Illinois Community Credit Union Board, and the Illinois Radio Reader. He is married to a seasoned elementary school teacher and their children are UI graduates. Currently, Joe serves on the University YMCA’s Building committee since 2017, St Patrick’s Church Building committee, and the University of Illinois Allerton Park Advisory Board.
