The Education for All Scholarship.

Supporting students with uncertain status to pursue their dreams through higher education.

Award Description

Established with support of the Three Spinners Fund in 2021, the Education for All Scholarship program enables undocumented community college/high school students, or community college/high school students who arrived in the U.S. as unaccompanied minors to pursue higher education at Parkland College.

Up to two awards are made each year based on available funds. Awards vary in size - with a goal of providing up to $2,000 for tuition and fees, plus up to $500 for other educational expenses.

Eligibility/Qualifications

Applicants must be be a community college or high school student who is a) undocumented, or b) arrived to the U.S. as an unaccompanied minor.

Applicants are not selected based on their GPA. The applicant will be invited to share information about their personal circumstances and/or experiences as an immigrant, as well as their intentions in pursuing a degree.

Application Timeline

Applications will be accepted soon, and recipients chosen prior to the start of the fall academic semester.
