Zeina Ammar

My name is Zeina (she/her), I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago to a family of immigrants but have called Urbana-Champaign home for the past few years! I am currently a senior studying Communication and Political Science with a concentration in Citizen Politics. Throughout my time at UIUC, I have actively engaged as a student organizer, dedicated to uplifting the voices of students and community members in the CU area. I am a founding member and Secretary of the Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) chapter on campus and serve as the club's representative on the Y Student Board. In my free time I like playing guitar, getting boba with friends, playing badminton, and bonding with my younger siblings!
