Upcoming Events
We were founded in 1873 with the vision of being a center for student and campus life. We've changed a great deal over several generations, but our focus on students and the community has remained unwavering.
Join us for a day-long celebration on September 30, 2023 here at our building. Discover what our students and student organizations are doing to make the world more just, equitable and sustainable for everyone. Learn about our history of partnership with the University of Illinois and community. Help us to envision the next 150 years.

Oh no, looks like there isn't anything here.
Did You Know?
We are one of only six remaining campus YMCAs in the United States - and one of only two INDEPENDENT campus YMCAs. We are a stand-alone non-profit organization and completely separate from the University of Illinois.
We have survived and thrived for 150 years because of the generosity and involvement of countless students, faculty, staff, and community members. Many of these are and have served on our staff team and boards.
Thank you!
